Role :
The Senior System Administrator is responsible for effective operation, maintenance, provisioning, installation and configuration of all the IT infrastructure systems, hardware and software. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovations and improvement of the infrastructure. The Senior System Administrator will assist project teams with technical issues. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits and technical strategy; technical analysis and design; and support of the operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.
Job Description:
  • Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources,systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
  • Engineering of SA related solutions for various project and operational needs
  • Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories,storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
  • Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures
  • Contributes to and maintains system standards
  • Researches and recommends innovative, and where possible automated approaches for any system administration tasks. Identifies approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale
  • Works with the Information Security team to design and implement system hardening procedures to block any malicious activity occurring within the infrastructure
  • Performs regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
  • Performs daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary
  • Works with Human Resources and Managers to create, change, and delete user accounts
  • Repairs and recovers from hardware or software failures and coordinates and communicates impacted constituencies
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configures and/or adds new services as appropriate
  • Performs periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
  • Performs on-going performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configures CPU memory, and disk partitions as required to maintain system performance standards within budget
  • Regularly participates in meetings and is dependable as an internal/external resource on assigned projects
  • Provides Tier III escalation support for the End User Services team
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years experience
  • Able to adapt to constantly changing environment
  • Effective communication skills, written, oral, and listening
  • Strong internal client service skills
  • Microsoft certification in Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2008 preferred
  • Familiarity with Active Directory management using Role-based Access Control

Senior Java Developer

Job Description:
The position is for a Senior developer requiring working in various capacities to design, build, deploy and manage complex applications. The position requires strong technology background with hands on experience in developing complex applications. Key responsibilities include but not limited to leading a team to successfully build and deploy applications, evaluate new technology choices, engage and work with support groups and, trouble and fix production issues.
Role :
Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.
Required Skills :
  • Strong expertise in Java and Java based APIs.
  • Hands on experience with Spring framework and other spring modules like Spring ORM, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Web and Spring Integration.
  • Good knowledge on Web services protocols like REST , SOAP and experience in developing HTTP and MQ interfaces using Spring framework.
  • Working experience with SQL, PL/SQL and oracle database

Storage Engineer (Masters +0/Bachelors +5)

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Qualification :
Masters or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Job Requirements :
Master or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Application, Computer Engineering, Computer Information System, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, any Engineering field, Math, Physics or related Studies. In the alternative, will accept Bachelor or foreign equivalent plus five years of progressive experience in job offered, software engineer, software consultant, system engineer, programmer or related work.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Responsible for deployment/support of UCS, VCE, VSPEX, VBLOCK Enterprise solutions
  • Create, reclaim and manage virtual computing assets
  • Deploy, configure, monitor and manage virtual machines
  • Configuration review of existing architectures and designs.
  • Perform UCS Chassis and cabling install if needed
  • Insert UCS Blades into the appropriate blade slots ensuring optimal placement and appropriate scale out approach
  • Ensure the fabric expansion uplink cables are configured to best practices and cabled as designed
  • Upgrade / Downgrade blade firmware to match VCE matrix levels
  • Create SAN Zoning and masking as appropriate
  • Create Boot LUNs from Storage platform
  • Install base ESX on each of the blades
  • Configure ESXI Cluster based on design and architecture plan. This includes Nk1v or distributed switch implementation
  • Using UM or manual upgrade process, update ESX to match VCE matric level; to include the installation of the additional driver packages (fnic, enic, pp, n1kv)
  • Provision Datastore LUN’s as appropriate
  • Validate multipathing settings are set appropriately based on storage platform
  • Ensure all software licenses/keys are applied to the converged stack. This applies to FI’s, ESXi, Nk1v, Multi-Pathing, etc.
  • Validate configuration and cross reference/review various technology stacks to ensure proper configuration
  • Perform final pass validation of the environment. This includes various fault injection tasks to ensure configuration validity.
  • Documentation and client review
Team and Customer Service Responsibilities :
  • Must have excellent customer-facing skills
  • Must be able to communicate in a positive manner with team members, peers and clients
  • Must have a superior customer service attitude and approach to working with clients
Qualifications :
  • 5 years minimum experience working with the converged solutions. EMC IE VMAX certification is a plus.
  • 5 years minimum experience working with Cisco MDS or Brocade FOS platform. Cisco or Brocade certification is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Strong team player, strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and work well under pressure
  • Understanding of O/S platforms, UNIX, Linux, or Windows
  • Experience with VMware, HyperV or Xen. VMware strongly preferred.
